Councillor Denzil Minnan-Wong
With regard to the survey was it a mail-in survey?

Lori Martin, City Staff, Economic Development, Culture and Tourism
It was a courier service private courier service, with the boundaries of Bathurst over to Winona, the rail tracks, up to St.Clair. And it was houses 5,200 of them were um hand delivered um and if there was any note saying no junk mail, they were to be ignored.

Councillor Denzil Minnan-Wong
Who conducted the survey?

Lori Martin, City Staff, Economic Development, Culture and Tourism
Who designed the survey?

Councillor Denzil Minnan-Wong
No who, well, managed the survey? Who sent it out? Who wrote it? Was it the city? Was it Artscape? Was it somebody else?

Lori Martin, City Staff, Economic Development, Culture and Tourism
It was councillor Mihevc's office in conjunction with the culture division.

NOTE:

When local residents applied to Freedom if Information and got the "Community Survey" results discussed above, they discovered that results from surveys were not as Ms.Martin described. In fact, the "community survey results" for the Bathurst, St.Clair area included surveys from Markham and Oro Station. The report claimed that the majority of local residents supported an Artscape development. However, the opposite was true - surveys taken from the local residents actually show that 70% are opposed to an Artscape development.

Ms.Martin makes clear that Councillor Mihevc's office was a partner in conducting this survey. Councillor Mihevc later denied this. (See Mihevc Video.)

David Miller is fully aware of the above, but voted to support this development anyway.
